I’ve been a massage therapist for 20 years. I am licensed in Kentucky and Ohio, as well as being certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. My massage training is from Gateway Community and Technical College. In addition, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Northern Kentucky University. I am also a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I worked in the corporate world. My previous business experience helps me understand the physical, emotional, and mental stressors of my clients. Massage therapy is exactly what helps balance your life so that stress does not take over.
I am experienced in helping people of all ages, including young children, adults, and seniors. I tailor each massage therapy session to each client’s unique health needs, using only the useful massage techniques and pressure.
Early in my career as a massage therapist, I worked in a chiropractic center. In that setting, I worked with clients of all ages, with all types of health conditions. I am experienced with working around surgical implants or other sensitive health issues. While people may be cautious and even self-conscious about their surgery sites, my clients have experienced pain relief through massage therapy.
I continue to improve the massage therapy services I offer by taking continuing education classes. Massage techniques I have studied include deep-tissue work, energy work, and holistic pain relief.
I am dedicated to helping others improve their life. With my unique background, I am confident my services as a massage therapist will help you on your wellness journey.
